Though the preparation of small dataset is possible, the out of vocabulary (OOV) words pose major difficulty, while learning models from CMSM text as the number of different ways of writing non-native words in roman script is huge. Preparation of such large training data is resource-intensive, requiring expertise in multiple languages. All the existing supervised learning methods for tasks such as Parts Of Speech (POS) tagging for code-mixed social media (CMSM) text typically depend on a large amount of training data. Code-mixing of text is a phenomenon prevalent among social media users, wherein words used are borrowed from multiple languages, though written in the commonly understood roman script. A multitude of nuances of social media text make the job of conventional text analytical tools difficult. Social media data has become invaluable component of business analytics.

This descriptive qualitative study probes into the ways in which Javanese language as a vernacular language is used along with the standard Bahasa Indonesia in a movie.In addition to examining the types of code switching, this study also tries to go further within the issue of Javanese language maintenance the movie wants to convey. This study investigates the types of code switching that are used by main characters in Yowis Ben The Series Episode 6 the main characters' reasons to use code switching in Yowis Ben The Series Episode 6 and the investigation concerning Javanese language maintenance indication depicted in the movie.
However, despite a large body of research on code switching, little attention has been given to code switching phenomenon in relation to language maintenance issue. The occurrence of Code switching phenomenon is relatively normal in bilingual and multilingual society. Also, there are three functions of code-mixing: neutralizing the use of language, establishing humour, and getting an immediate response to the speech.

Based on the discussion of code switching and code mixing in the “Yowis Ben” movie, the conclusions drawn are as follows. The researcher also played a direct role in the data collection process by determining the data source, listening to and recording data. This research uses a qualitative approach. Therefore, the research aims to identify the types of code-mixing and code-switching in the movie. The use of native language in the Yowis ben movie by Fajar Nugros and Bayu Eko Moektito turns it into various language forms.
